Villa Calamosche is located at the entry of the wonderful Calamosche bay, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches of Italy, between the archeological ruins of Eloro and the faunistic oasis of Vendicari. An unmissable stop for the lovers of pure maritime landscapes and of the open-air life.

Staying in Villa Calamosche is a unique experience, a little corner of paradise, at a short distance from the pure beaches of the nature reserve of Vendicari, among which Calamosche: a soft golden sand bay, touched lightly by a deep blue crystal sea.

Surrounded by a wide garden and a vast citrus grove, extended as far as the eye can see, thanks to its external veranda endowed with a comfortable relaxation area, the villa provides enough space for an open-air dinner or for having a rest during the fresh summer nights.

The Space

The building consists of two different apartments, each of them is composed of two double bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom (one for each apartment), a washing machine, an external veranda and a common terrace.

The common areas and all the bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning, even though you can also do without it thanks to the ideal room temperature of the area.

Guests will have at their disposal: a private parking, free use of barbecue and beach umbrellas.

The external veranda, ideal for having some rest after a day on the beach, is endowed with a beach chair and a spacious table for a open-air dinner under a wonderful starry sky, away from the noises of the city.

A walk around

Villa Calamosche is the ideal destination for those who love the sea and the pure coasts of South-Eastern Sicily. Located at the entry of the famous Calamosche beach, a small and unique bay. The nature reserve of Vendicari, where you can do excursions visiting the “tonnara”, the saltworks and also do birdwatching, is just one kilometre from the villa.

Whatever you like, lying on the beach under the sun or having an adventure in search of places which are hard to reach, Vendicari offers more than 7 km of sandy coast and rock creeks. You have just to choose among: Eloro, immersed between thin golden sand and the archeological ruins; Marianelli, isolated and wild; San Lorenzo, with its vast beaches and beachfronts equipped for visitors and its small fascinating creeks.

Nearby, it is also possible to visit the so-called “Isola delle Correnti”(Island of streams), where the Mediterranean sea meets the Ionian sea, a popular place for windsurfers. 

A few kilometers away (around 4 km) there is Noto, the “Stone Garden”, famous for its historical centre in Baroque Sicilian style.

Marzamemi, a fascinating fishers village, full of modern pubs and restaurants, and Pachino (distant only 10 km) are unmissable stops for those who love good food, wine and nightlife. The area is also full of vineyards and wine cellars, where you can have tastings even without any reservation.
